Weld Tech

Major job responsibility involves helping to maintain the day-to-day operations of the weld department.  The individual is part of a support group

which is responsible to see that the weld operations function as smoothly as possible through their involvement in setting up the equipment, trouble shooting problems, performing preventative maintenance, aiding in employee training and similar functions.  Conducts tests and evaluates data to assist welding engineering personnel in development and application of new or improved welding equipment; welding techniques, procedures, and practices. Some overtime required. Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Technical and mechanical person who is capable of troubleshooting robotic and resistance welding equipment.

Production Supervisor 

2nd or 3rd shift 

In this hands-on position, you will supervise and coordinate  manufacturing activities to ensure production of quality products and employee safety. You will  recommend/implement measures to improve production methods and equipment to increase efficiency of manufacturing through team work of the shift employees.  Must fill in wherever necessary in such areas as driving hi-lo, auditing shipment parts, and help in setting dies and loading coils.  Must have experience  in automotive metal stampings as well as MIG andresistance welding.  Qualifiedcandidate will have experience in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and problem solving.  Transfer press experience a must.  Effectivecommunication and interpersonal skills are needed in this supervisory position.  Strong leadership abilities and 3 years manufacturing supervision experience are required. Associate degree preferred.

Automatic Press Operators

2nd and/or 3rd shift

Automatic press operators with experience in running progressive metal stampings.  Must have two to three years of experience running an automatic stamping press  be able to set them up .  Also, must havereliable transportation and very good attendance.  Duties will include die set up, operating automatic feed presses, inspecting parts for quality accuracy and able to load/unload steel coils.   

Transfer Press Operators

2nd and/or 3rd shift

Transfer press operators with experience in running and setting transfer metal stampings.  Must have two to three years of experience running a transfer press and be able complete a transfer die set.  Also, must have reliable transportation and very good attendance.  Duties will include transfer die set up, adjusting transfer fingers, operating automatic and blank fed presses, inspecting parts for quality accuracy and able to load/unload steel coils.
